The Shop is now open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 5 pm.  We shall also be open on the first Sunday each month and bank holidays from 11 am to 4 pm.  We have extended opening hours during English Wine Week (26 May to 3 June). See Events and News for more information.

Tours, talks

We cater for parties of 12 or more, providing a tour, tastings with cheese and biscuits. 

The best time of the year to visit is between April and September when the vines will either be in growth and, come July, there will be grapes on the vines.  The weather will also be kinder, although in very hot summers, we suggest that tours are scheduled for early evening to avoid the heat of the day (we do have a very good micro-climate).  The tours take roughly one and a half hours, and parties are shown round the vineyard as well as the wine making operations.  Cheese and wine tastings are offered in the price.  The current cost is £6 per head and booking is essential.  Although the vineyard is flat (there is no climbing) we do suggest that all visitors wear sensible shoes and proper weather protection.  

There is disabled access to our shop and toilet, but not in the winery and due to the nature of the soil there is limited disabled access to the vineyard.
